Grats! I will earn my lovely violet proto-drake at Hallows End, as my pvp-hating side reared up last year and refused to do Gnerd Rage and the Crashing/Cleanup achievements. I got my Brewmaster early yesterday, and that close, I will be sucking it up and doing it next month. I saw my first one yesterday, and that rich purple color is just breathtaking.

And you are right, Luck has NOTHING to do with this… work and dedication, holiday after holiday is what gets it done.

Possibly the most useful information I’ve ever read about this or any other hard mode. As a 10-man only raiding guild now pushing into hard modes, it’s incredibly frustrating that every damned blog, guide website and forum I read is discussing 25-man hard modes and declares that 6k DPS is a base requirement – which feels completely unattainable with 10-man gear and limited buffs.

To know that we need less than 4k DPS per member really is comforting. Ta for the info!

Good luck with the FL + 4. Our ten man achievement run group has been trying that for a while… man is it tough. We can do 3 towers no problem, but once you add in those flowers…. ./shudder

It’s the same thing for horde except backwards. a tiny bit of logic allowed me to follow the same guide on my Pally. not as efficient as a horde specific guide, but it cut down on the flying to random places that didn’t have fires.
