Pookies Is Not A Bear

What can he Lifebloom for you?

About January 28, 2008

Pookies is a night elf druid on the realm Bonechewer (US). He was specced feral beyond level 70 (until the end of Karazhan), at which point he specced resto in order to guarantee his raid spot. At 80, Pookies continued to play resto through T7 before making a transition to mainly playing balance for the rest of the Wrath of the Lich King expansion. Pookies’ raid role in Cataclysm has yet to be determined.

Pookies is a member of the PVE-focused guild Eye of The Storm. EoTS is a guild that originated in Classic WoW (yes, long before the EotS battleground was introduced!). At the time of Pookies’ joining, EoTS had cleared T5 except for Kael’thas. In just a few short months, EoTS had finished off Kael’thas and was working on Illidan P3/P4 before attendance problems prevented a complete clear of Black Temple pre-3.0.

In Wrath of the Lich King, EoTS has been focused on 10-man progression raiding, achieving Glory of the Ulduar Raider before the release of ICC.

In January 2010, EoTS decided to scale back on the raiding and now only raids once a week (Wednesday nights). In spite of this, EoTS was able to clear ICC as a guild and got to 6/12 in heroic ICC.

In Pookies’ spare time, he enjoys endeavors to repair his reputation with the four goblin factions who were all appalled by Pookies’ participation in a Booty Bay massacre.

Pookies Is Not A Bear is written by Geoff, a no-longer-so-recent university graduate in Toronto, Ontario, Canada. Holding a degree in chemical engineering, Geoff currently works for a large Canadian chemical distribution company which is headquartered in Toronto. In his spare time, he enjoys playing WoW, drinking, or some combination thereof.
